Tea Party Patriots Action to Launch Georgia Election Integrity Tour

Tea Party Patriots Action (TPPA) on Monday announced an election integrity tour that will take place throughout Georgia.

The tour, which will make stops in eighteen different cities over a 10-day period, begins in Woodstock on Wednesday.

During events, individuals will discuss election integrity issues and recruit Georgians for election integrity task forces.

“Georgians know first-hand the importance of election integrity issues. The 2020 election was a wakeup call for all Americans, and especially Georgians, about safeguarding the right to vote. Our goal is simple: We should make it easy to vote and hard to cheat. Left-wing activists continue to push radical legislation, including the ‘Pelosi Power Grab,’ that would do the opposite,” said TPPA Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin in an emailed statement.

“On our eighteen-city tour through Georgia, we will get into the nitty gritty of election integrity issues, and we will recruit our fellow citizens for election integrity task forces. I look forward to speaking at several of these events.”

TPPA is partnering with multiple organizations to build a coalition: America First Policy Institute, Heritage Action for America, Conservative Partnership Institute, and Americans for Citizen Voting.

Georgia has been at the center of the debate over election integrity.

Earlier this year, state lawmakers passed an election reform bill that they argue makes elections more secure, specifically in the way of absentee voting.

“This bill expands voting access, streamlines vote-counting procedures, and ensures election integrity,” said Georgia Governor Brian Kemp of the measure. “President Biden, the left, and the national media are determined to destroy the sanctity and security of the ballot box. As Secretary of State, I consistently led the fight to protect Georgia elections against power-hungry, partisan activists. As Governor, I won’t back down from keeping Georgia elections secure, accessible, and fair.”
