Washington D.C.-based radio show host John Fredericks endorsed State Representative Lee Reeves’ (R-Franklin) campaign for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District on Monday.
Fredericks called Reeves the “only 100% MAGA candidate” in the special election to fill the congressional seat.
“[Reeves] has my complete and total endorsement. I’ve been with President Trump from Day 1 and I know MAGA better than anyone else. Lee Reeves is MAGA and he’s the only candidate who donated to any of President Trump’s campaigns,” Fredericks said.
Honored to receive this endorsement from a MAGA Original. John has been with @realDonaldTrump from the beginning. Thank you, John! I won't let you or the President down! https://t.co/ls9RJWqyI9

Fredericks went on to cite Reeves’ work during the most recent legislative session of the Tennessee General Assembly to sponsor and pass House Bill 749 – which makes it a Class B misdemeanor offense of operating a motor vehicle in Tennessee with an invalid driver license and designates out-of-state driver licenses issued exclusively to illegal aliens as invalid driver licenses – and to pass the Education Freedom Scholarship Act.
He also cited Reeves’ commitment, if elected to Congress, to lead bills ending birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens and penalizing sanctuary jurisdictions.
“As a State Rep. he passed a law that took drivers’ licenses away from illegals and stood with President Trump on School Choice. In Congress, Lee will end the Birthright Citizenship Loophole and Defund Sanctuary Cities,” Fredericks said.
“President Trump deserves someone who will be a 100% teammate and that is Lee Reeves,” he added.
Reeves said he was “honored” to receive Fredericks’ endorsement, whom he called a “MAGA original.”
“John has been with [President Trump] from the beginning. Thank you, John! I won’t let you or the President down,” Reeves added.
Fredericks’ endorsement of Reeves comes two days before early voting in the special primary opens on Wednesday, September 17. The final day for voters in the 7th District to request an absentee ballot for the special primary election is September 27.
Reeves is one of 11 Republican candidates who have qualified for the primary ballot.
In addition to Fredericks, Reeves has also been endorsed in recent weeks by Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, Tennessee Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson (R-Franklin), former Davidson County Republican Party Chairman Lonnie Spivak, and the GOPAC Election Fund.
