Commentary: The One Big Beautiful Bill Helps Prevent Another Humanitarian Crisis

CBP

Since Inauguration Day, President Trump has been hard at work delivering on his mandate to secure the southern border, achieving historic results.

Under President Biden, the average number of border crossings each month neared 160,000. Some days saw as many as 15,000 illegal crossings. Under President Trump, those numbers have plummeted to all-time lows. In July, border encounters nationwide totaled just 24,630. Trump Demands Answers from Drug Companies on Effectiveness of COVID Treatments

Breitbart   President Donald Trump on Monday called on drug companies, including Pfizer, to disclose evidence regarding the effectiveness of coronavirus treatments. “It is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various Covid Drugs,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “Many people think they are a miracle that saved Millions of lives. Others disagree! With CDC being ripped apart over this question, I want the answer, and I want it NOW.” Trump said Pfizer and other companies have shown him “extraordinary” data that he believes has not been made available to the public: I have been shown information from Pfizer, and others, that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public. Why not??? They go off to the next “hunt” and let everyone rip themselves apart, including Bobby Kennedy Jr. and CDC, trying to figure out the success or failure of the Drug Companies Covid work. They show me GREAT numbers and results, but they don’t seem to be showing them to many others. I want them to show them NOW, to CDC and the public, and clear up this MESS, one way or the other!!! Federal Data Reveals 1.2 Million Drop in Immigrant Workers Under Trump

CBS News   As millions of Americans gather Monday to celebrate Labor Day, federal data shows how President Trump’s immigration policies are reshaping the U.S. workforce. The number of immigrant workers in the U.S. has declined by 1.2 million from January through the end of July, according to preliminary Census Bureau data, analyzed by the Pew Research Center. That figure includes people who are in the country illegally as well as legal residents.  The labor market shakeup comes as the flow of immigrants into the U.S. has slowed significantly under Mr. Trump, who campaigned on a promise to deport millions of immigrants working illegally. He has said he is focusing deportation efforts on “dangerous criminals,” but most people detained by ICE have no criminal convictions. At the same time, the number of illegal border crossings has plunged under his policies.  READ THE FULL STORY

Commentary: The U.S. Senate Must Pass the Equal Representation Act Now

Elections day

As the America First conservative running to represent Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District, I’m fed up with the Washington swamp putting illegal aliens ahead of hardworking American patriots. The Equal Representation Act, championed by our rock-solid Senator Bill Hagerty, is a common-sense fix, and the Senate must pass it now. This bill is about one thing: making sure only American citizens count when it comes to congressional seats and Electoral College votes. Anything less is a slap in the face to every citizen who loves this country.

Labor Day

It’s time for Christians everywhere to reclaim the biblical meaning of Labor Day.

Ask the average man or woman today how Labor Day started, and they’ll probably point to the labor movement.
