Country singers Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean, and Bailey Zimmerman are set to headline Nashville’s live New Year’s Eve five-hour event airing on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+.
This year’s Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park will feature live musical performances, the famed red Music Note drop at midnight, and a 90-second fireworks display to ring in the new year.
The broadcasted event will be hosted by comedian and actor Bert Kreischer and Country music star HARDY.
Gates open for the free event on Wednesday, December 31 at 5:30 p.m. Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell is scheduled to welcome the crowd at approximately 6:45 p.m.
There will be food vendors, heated tents, phone charging stations and bag lockers, photo ops and selfie stations, merchandise trailers, and ATMs available for attendees inside the event perimeter.
A clear bag policy will be in place for the event. Clear bags that are no larger than 12″ by 12″ by 6″ and non-transparent wallets and cases no larger than 4.5″ by 6.5″ are permitted inside the event perimeters.
The live show will begin airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ at 7:00 p.m. CST.
This year’s event will be the 17th annual New Year’s Eve concert in Nashville and the ninth year of it being held at Bicentennial Park.
Last year’s New Year’s Eve event in Nashville generated a record-breaking $41 million in direct visitor spending and drew a record-breaking crowd of approximately 220,000 attendees.
Further, the event was found to have resulted in an 88 percent occupancy rate of hotels in downtown Nashville and increased the hotel demand on New Year’s Eve by 7.2 percent from the previous year.
