The GOPAC Election Fund endorsed State Representative Lee Reeves’ (R-Franklin) campaign for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District leading up to next month’s special primary election.
“Lee Reeves has proven to be a governing conservative during his time in the Tennessee House of Representatives,” GOPAC Chairman David Avella said in a statement.
“Further, his message to lower taxes, cut waste and increase American energy independence to help our country’s farmers, workers and small businesses is very much needed in Congress,” Avella added.

With its endorsement, GOPAC has contributed an investment of $5,000 – the maximum allowable federal contribution – to Reeves’ congressional campaign.
Reeves said he was “honored” to have been endorsed by the GOPAC Election Fund and “thankful” for the support of Avella, a veteran Republican strategist.
“Once chaired by former U.S. Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, GOPAC has a long history of championing conservative principles, working to elect serious conservative lawmakers, and advocating for policies that create jobs, get government spending under control, and keep Americans safe from crime and violence,” Reeves said.
“Those are key priorities of President Trump’s America First agenda, and the citizens of the 7th District know I will advance them in Washington as a member of Congress,” he added.
GOPAC, according to its website, is dedicated to “strengthening the U.S. House Republican Majority with governing conservatives – leaders dedicated to the body of work that confronts serious lawmakers.”
In the 2024 election cycle, the GOPAC Network said it invested more than $33 million to educate and elect Republican leaders and, moving forward, will support incumbents and state leaders seeking election to Congress “in competitive primary elections” during the 2026 midterms.
GOPAC supported retired U.S. Rep. Mark Green in his bid for Congress in 2018.
Early voting for the October 7 special primary election will run from September 17 through October 2. Voters must be registered to vote in the primary by Monday.
