U.S. Senator and Tennessee Republican gubernatorial candidate Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) was seated with Vice President JD Vance at Friday night’s inaugural celebration of the newly-renovated White House Rose Garden.
On Friday, President Donald Trump hosted several lawmakers of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate for a dinner party at the White House “Rose Garden Club.”

“You’re a special group of people, and you’re the first people that I’ve had at the White House at the Rose Garden, and it’s an honor to have you,” Trump said while speaking at the dinner Friday.
“This is, I think, going to go down as a very important place over the period of time for news conferences, for celebrations, for dinners, and we’re going to bring people together here,” he added.
Trump went on to address the crowd of some of his closest Republican allies, expressing his appreciation for their loyalty to his agenda and vowing to always support them.

“I just want to thank you all. You’ve been unbelievable. I’ll be with you for the rest of my life. I will be with you, and you’re going to be with me and with leadership,” he said.
Blackburn and Vance were joined at a table by U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) and U.S. Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC-09).
After attending Friday’s dinner party at the White House, Blackburn traveled back to Tennessee, where she appeared at the Tennessee Volunteers’ home opener football game against East Tennessee State University at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville on Saturday.

In a video where she appeared alongside Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, who also serves as Blackburn’s gubernatorial campaign treasurer, Blackburn invited Trump to attend a Volunteers football game in Knoxville.
