A landmark legislation was passed in Parliament on Tuesday that would make it illegal for anyone born after 2008 to buy tobacco in the United Kingdom.
The Tobacco and Vapes Bill passed through both the House of Commons and House of Lords and is set to become law if it gets royal assent from King Charles III.
The bill is part of a series of health reform bills designed to combat smoking, including other measures that would make it illegal to vape in cars with children and outside schools.
