Kash Patel

The Atlantic on Thursday doubled down on its claims that FBI Director Kash Patel has a serious drinking problem that impacts his job performance during an episode of the magazine’s podcast. The publication reasserted the claims it originally reported on April 17, claimed that new, anonymous sources have since emerged, and added that reports indicating Patel had a problem with abusing alcohol first emerged prior to his February 2025 confirmation by the U.S. Senate.

Nearly a week following the April 17 report about Patel, and after the director filed a $250 million lawsuit against The Atlantic and reporter Sarah Fitzpatrick, the journalist was interviewed for the publication’s program, Radio Atlantic, which was transcribed by the magazine for an article titled, “The Kash Patel Fallout.”

White House Accuses China of ‘Deliberate, Industrial-Scale’ Theft of AI Technology

BREAKING NEWS

Breitbart   The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) on Thursday published a memo that accused China of conducting “industrial-scale” theft of artificial intelligence (AI) technology from American firms. “The U.S. government has information indicating that foreign entities, principally based in China, are engaged in deliberate, industrial-scale campaigns to distill U.S. frontier AI systems,” said the memo from OSTP Director Michael Kratsios, as first seen by the Financial Times (FT) on Thursday. “Model distillation” means harvesting the output from existing large AI systems to create smaller ones, rather like a cuckoo bird laying its eggs in the nests of other birds. Pro-Trump Podcaster Shawn Farash Says False SPLC Designation Led to Death Threats, Was ‘Contributing Factor’ in Decision to Leave New York

Shawn Farash

With the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) now subject to an 11-count indictment over its alleged past use of paid informants, podcaster and Trump impressionist Shawn Farash on Friday revealed to The Tennessee Star how its 2022 designation of his political group as an “antigovernment” extremist organization heralded death threats and harassment that contributed to his relocation from New York to Tennessee.

Long Island Loud Majority, co-founded by Farash in 2021, was listed by SPLC in 2022 and 2023. A spokesman for the Alabama-based organization told Newsday in 2023 that Farash’s group employed, “typical antigovernment rhetoric about false conspiracies regarding a supposed tyrannical government and masking it with patriotic language,” and on the SPLC website, it remains listed as among other “antigovernment groups” that purportedly create a nationwide “antidemocratic hard-right movement.”
