The Boring Company announced it will hold a hiring event next week to expand its Nashville workforce as construction continues on the Music City Loop
The company said in a post on X that it is hiring workers for the project, with two tunnel boring machines currently operating and a third expected to arrive soon.
“If you can wrench, weld, wire, engineer, or manage construction sites — we want you on the Music City Loop Team,” the company said.
The hiring event will be held in Nashville on Friday, August 28, with interviews scheduled by appointment for selected applicants. Those interested can submit an application through The Boring Company’s Nashville hiring page and complete an intake form for the event.
The company is seeking applicants across a range of technical and construction-related specialties. Applicants are asked to provide their resume, current company and job title, location, contact information, and area of expertise.
Potential interview time slots are listed as 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Applicants are not guaranteed attendance, with invitations and specific interview locations and times to be sent to those selected.
The hiring push comes as work on the Music City Loop continues to expand. Earlier this month, the company said more than 40 stations are in various stages of planning and design, including a planned station at Nashville International Airport and stations associated with several downtown residential and hospitality properties.
The Boring Company recently launched its second tunnel boring machine, Prufrock-MB2, while the first machine, Prufrock-MB1, continues tunneling. A third machine, Prufrock-MB3, is expected to arrive in Nashville in September.
The first phase of the privately funded project is expected to connect downtown Nashville with Nashville International Airport in approximately 10 minutes when it opens in spring 2027.
