Robin Westman, who on Wednesday was named as the 22-year-old biological male who identified as a transgender female prior to killing two at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, reportedly uploaded a video to social media showing his weapons and equipment, which has since been deleted but reposted to the social media platform X.
On one rifle magazine, the alleged killer wrote, “Kill Donald Trump,” while one of the weapons contained the words, “Kill Trump Now!”
President Donald Trump famously survived two assassination attempts while campaigning for president last year.
The video also showed antisemitic phrases and slogans written on various equipment, including the phrase, “Israel Must Fall” on a weapon, and the antisemitic phrase “6 million wasn’t enough,” which complains that only 6 million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust, on his belt.
“Release The List” was also written on one of the weapons, possibly referencing a purported list of clients of the deceased pedophile and financier Jeffrey Epstein. Democratic activists have recently used the phrase to demand the names of those clients be released by Trump.
Westman also included statements on his pistols and pistol magazines, including the words, “There is no message,” and a slur directed at Latinos.
Another weapon included the phrase, “Remove Kebab,” which is likely a reference to an internet meme celebrating Serbian military leader Radovan Karadžić in the nation’s 1990s conflict against Bosnian Muslims. The meme was later co-opted by those celebrating violence against peaceful Muslims.
The video, which appeared to be recorded in a bedroom, also revealed a painting of Jesus Christ taped to the head of a practice target.
Early in the video, Westman claimed to have met former congressional candidate Brandon Herrera and endorsed the Republican for president. Herrera acknowledged the killer’s remarks in a post to social media, calling him a “gutless coward who decided to take the lives of innocent people in Minneapolis today.”
Multiple words on the weapons and equipment appeared to be written using the Cyrillic alphabet, and Westman appeared to repeat words and phrases in a foreign language, possibly Ukrainian or Russian, throughout the video. A purported manifesto, which Westman allegedly recorded in another video posted to social media prior to the attack, appeared to be written using the Cyrillic alphabet.
Other words written in English included references to other shootings. “Tarrent Forever” was written in a possible reference to Brenton Tarrant, who killed 51 people at two mosques in New Zealand. The word “Rupnow” was also written in an apparent reference to the Wisconsin school shooter, Natalie Rupnow. Names of those who allegedly inspired Rupnow were also included on the rifle, as well as the word “Waco,” in a possible reference to the 1993 siege on the Branch Davidians compound in Texas by the FBI.
Westman, who reportedly left a suicide note in which he claimed to be dying of lung cancer induced by vaping, showed a pink vaping device throughout the video.
The FBI on Wednesday declined to confirm Westman was the attacker or his transgender identity in a statement to The Tennessee Star. The Minneapolis Police Department did not immediately respond to a press inquiry.
The attack happened just weeks after the FBI released the latest portion of writings by the transgender Covenant School killer to The Star.
