While the Biden administration pushed for EVs through tax credits and allowed California to effectively impose a national de facto EV mandate, Congress and President Donald Trump have blocked the mandate and slashed many federal EV incentives.

Ohio LGBT Activists Want to Make Sure Gender-Confused Kids Only Have One Option

LGBT activists are driving the transgender agenda forward in Ohio despite President Donald Trump’s mission to stop child sex-changes.

Cuyahoga County became the first Ohio county to ban healthcare professionals from helping gender-confused children become comfortable with their natural sex through therapy in an ordinance passed by the county council on Sept. 9. The ordinance defines “conversion therapy” as “any practice or procedure that seeks to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity,” considering such efforts to be unlawful behavior. The ban says healthcare providers who engage in so-called conversion therapy operate under the “erroneous assumption that non-heterosexual, non-cisgender identities are mental disorders” and that “gender identity can and should be changed.”

White House Launching TrumpRx.com for Lower-Priced Drugs

The Hill   The Trump administration on Tuesday announced plans to launch TrumpRx.com, an online platform that it says will direct Americans to lower-priced drugs. The announcement came one day after President Trump’s deadline for drugmakers to comply with his “Most Favored Nation” (MFN) executive order, which included a mandate for companies to establish direct-to-consumer for medicines, cutting out middlemen.   Chris Klomp, deputy administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said on Tuesday that drugs would be made available through the platform “often at full MFN, and always at lower prices than currently available. This is bypassing middlemen. It increases transparency, and many instances, prices are 80 percent lower than they are today.” READ THE FULL STORY

U.S. Sees Surge in Baptisms as More Gen Z Men Embrace Faith

CBS News   On a warm Sunday afternoon, thousands of people converged on a private cove in Southern California for a spiritual rebirth, part of what organizers call the world’s largest synchronized water baptism. The event, Baptize America, drew participation from more than 650 churches nationwide, with around 30,000 people baptized. The gathering represents a broader trend: A worldwide surge in adults becoming baptized into the Christian faith, particularly among an unlikely demographic: Gen Z men. “Water baptism is identifying in the death, the burial, in the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” said Pastor Mark Francey of Oceans Church, a non-denominational Christian church in Orange County. “Getting in the ocean to do something so transcendent in a transcendent place like the ocean, it’s just a really special way to connect with God.” READ THE FULL STORY

Immigration Lawyers for Abrego Garcia Say Illegal Immigrant Ready for ‘Immediate’ Removal to Costa Rica

Abrego Garcia’s attorneys stated their client’s willingness to be deported to Costa Rica while reasserting their claim that federal immigration authorities have violated the law by attempting to deport their client to nations other than Costa Rica, where Abrego Garcia has twice identified as his preferred country for removal, despite also claiming he fears persecution or torture if deported there.

Commentary: Americans Want a Trump Budget Rather than a Schumer Shutdown

Trump Schumer

In two days, the federal government is set to run out of money, which would deprive service members of their hard-earned paychecks, halt grants to state and local law enforcement, jeopardize care for seniors, and freeze other services that Americans depend on. This shutdown is completely avoidable. Yet Senator Schumer (D-N.Y.) and his Democrat colleagues are determined to make it happen.

Republicans in the House of Representatives already passed a stop-gap funding bill that would keep the government open through November 21. By keeping spending at current levels, it would provide us the time we need in Congress to pass all of Senate Republicans’ appropriations bills through regular order. This would ensure that President Trump’s America First agenda is reflected in government spending, which is exactly what the American people voted for in November.

DOJ Asks Supreme Court to Review Birthright Citizenship Order as High Court Takes on Trump Cases This Term

Washington Examiner   The Trump administration filed a pair of petitions to the Supreme Court asking the justices to hear appeals on its birthright citizenship order, which could add to the growing list of questions related to President Donald Trump‘s actions that the high court will consider in its term. The two petitions appeared on the Supreme Court’s public docket on Monday after being filed late Friday, and they urged the justices to take appeals in both cases, which were brought by Democrat-led states and a group of people who could be affected by Trump’s order. The question presented to the high court in both petitions centers on the president’s January executive order claiming that birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment does not include children born on U.S. soil to parents who are in the country illegally or on a temporary basis, such as on a visa. The order, which would not be retroactive, states that if one of the parents is a permanent resident or U.S. citizen at the time of the child’s birth, then the child would get citizenship at birth. The Supreme Court has been asked to determine if the executive order is lawful under the 14th Amendment. READ THE…
