Nashville is preparing to host its largest Independence Day celebration ever as part of the nationwide America 250 commemoration marking the United States’ 250th anniversary.
Organizers announced that the annual “Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th” event will expand into a two-day festival on July 3 and 4, featuring more stages, more performances, and the biggest fireworks and drone show in Music City’s history.
The event, presented by Dr Pepper and produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC), will feature five music stages on July 4 and three on July 3, showcasing a wide range of genres from country and rock to jazz, hip-hop, Americana, and Latin music.

Festivities will begin on July 3 with “A Prelude to the Fourth,” featuring live music across three stages and family-friendly activities at the Amazon Family Fun Zone in Walk of Fame Park.
On Independence Day, the event expands to five stages across downtown, culminating in a headlining concert on Broadway, followed by the grand fireworks finale.
A highlight of the event will be the July 4 fireworks and drone show, featuring 1,000 drones in a synchronized aerial display. The show will feature a live performance by the Nashville Symphony.
The celebration, as in previous years, will be free and open to the public and is expected to draw massive crowds.
Last year’s event set a record, with approximately 365,000 visitors who attended Nashville’s 2025 Let Freedom Sing! Celebration, surpassing 2024 attendance by 10,000 people.
Organizers anticipate even larger numbers this year, given the historic significance of America’s 250th anniversary.
“This will be our biggest July 4th celebration yet as we help mark America’s 250th anniversary in a way only Nashville can,” said Marcus Whitney, chair of the NCVC Board of Directors and founding partner of Jumpstart Health.
“Let Freedom Sing! gives our community a chance to celebrate in their own backyard with world-class live music of diverse musical styles across five stages. At the same time, it draws visitors from around the world, generating significant economic impact for local businesses and reinforcing Nashville’s place as a top Independence Day destination,” Whitney added.
