State Representative Gino Bulso’s (R-Brentwood) campaign launched its first television ad in the Republican primary race for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District.
In the ad, titled “WARRIOR,” Bulso presents himself as a “Trump conservative” who aligns closely with President Donald Trump’s agenda, citing his work passing conservative legislation in the Tennessee House of Representatives.
“I’m Gino Bulso and I’m the Trump conservative running for Congress. In the legislature, I led the charge for the Trump Act preventing criminal illegals from getting your tax dollars and banning sanctuary cities. I stopped the Chinese Communist Party from buying our farmland and fought to keep biological men out of women’s sports and locker rooms.” Bulso says in the ad.
“President Trump’s warrior approach is saving America. I’m Gino Bulso and I approve this message because I’m ready to Fight, Fight, Fight,” he adds.
Upon launch of the ad, Bulso said in a statement, “From day one, our campaign has been powered by America First conservatives across Tennessee who believe in President Trump’s agenda.”
“I am grateful for their support and proud to stand with them as we fight for Tennessee values,” he added.
Bulso’s campaign said its “WARRIOR” ad will air across the 7th District.
“Gino’s record proves he is the conservative fighter voters can trust to defend President Trump’s agenda in Washington,” the campaign said. “His rapid rise in the polls demonstrates that Tennesseans are rallying behind an America First conservative who will fight for families, faith, and freedom.”
Bulso’s “WARRIOR” ad comes on the heels of his official qualification for next month’s Republican primary debate, hosted by the Americans for Prosperity (AFP) Foundation, after a Tuesday poll released by AFP showed him statistically tied with State Reps. Lee Reeves (R-Franklin) and Jody Barrett (R-Dickson) and former Lee administration official Matt Van Epps.
With Tuesday’s poll results, the top three candidates – Bulso, Reeves, and Barrett – have all automatically qualified for the debate while other candidates, including Van Epps, must raise or self-fund at least $250,000 by August 29 to participate.
The Republican primary for the special election will take place on Tuesday, October 7. Early voting for the primary will run from September 17 through October 2.
In order to vote in the primary, voters must be registered to vote by September 8.
