Poll: 15 Percent Registered Voters Say Kirk’s Death Good for America; 40 Percent Say Assassination Marks ‘Significant Turning Point’

A new poll shows 15 percent of registered voters think America is “better off” now that Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated.

The data, cited from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen from September 13 through September 14, 2025, shows 15 percent of registered voters think America is “better off” now that Kirk was killed while 67 percent said the nation is not better off without Kirk and 18 percent were unsure.

Rasmussen noted that of the 15 percent of voters who believe America is “better off” now that Kirk was killed, 26 percent are under 35 years old.

Napolitan News Service pointed out how a similar number (17 percent) of poll respondents last year said it would have been better if President Donald Trump had been killed by his second attempted assassin at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

When asked whether or not Kirk’s assassination marked a “significant turning point” in American history as opposed to “just another incident in a series of politically violent acts,” 40 percent said Kirk’s death marked a turning point. In comparison, 48 percent saw his death as another act of political violence.

More than half of Republicans (58 percent) said Kirk’s death is a turning point, while only 25 percent of Democrats said the same.

The poll further showed 34 percent of registered voters – 44 percent of Republicans and 26 percent of Democrats – are following the news about Kirk’s assassination of “very closely.”

When it comes to perceiving which political party is responsible for political violence, 47 percent of voters said both parties are equally responsible for political violence in America, while 34 percent disagree.

Among those who disagreed that both parties are equally responsible for political violence, opinion was fairly evenly split, as 18 percent of all voters blamed Democrats more, while 15 percent of all voters blamed Republicans more.

    Only 15% were honest enough to admit it. I’m sure it is far higher. Demons are running rampant in America today.
