President Donald Trump said Wednesday that China has agreed not to send weapons to Iran.
Trump made the announcement in a post on Truth Social, and he said that he is “permanently opening the Strait of Hormuz.”
“President Xi will give me a big, fat, hug when I get there in a few weeks. We are working together smartly, and very well! Doesn’t that beat fighting???” the president said.
He added that the U.S. is “far better than anyone else” at fighting.
According to the American Automobile Association, the average gas price in America fell 1 cent from Tuesday to Wednesday to $4.108. Despite the small change, gas prices are still up from a month ago. The average price of gas a month ago was $3.699. This represents a 11% increase in gas prices.
The states with the lowest gas prices are Oklahoma, Kansas and North Dakota. Oklahoma has the lowest average gas price at $3.444, while Kansas and North Dakota have average gas prices of $3.507 and $3.616, respectively.
