GOP Nashville is encouraging vehicles that participate in the convoy to display patriotic or Trump-supporting flags or decorations.
“Get those flags out…Nashville is convoying to Columbia for the President’s birthday and Flag Day! We are calling ALL patriots in Tennessee to come celebrate Trump’s birthday at the Harley Davidson store in Columbia,” advertisements for the event posted by GOP Nashville on X says.
GOP Nashville’s convoy and rally Saturday will be held as anti-Trump “No Kings” protests will be held across Tennessee and states across the country.
A “No Kings” event is scheduled in Nashville at Bicentennial Park from 10:00 a.m. to noon before protesters are expected to take to the streets of the city to march in opposition to the Trump administration.
“No Kings” events are also scheduled to take place at 25 locations in Tennessee.
In Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Trump will join veterans, active-duty troops, wounded warriors, Gold Star Families, and Patriotic Americans from across the country to celebrate the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday at a grand military parade.
The parade will march down Constitution Avenue NW between 15th Street and 23rd Street in D.C.
Trump warned this week that protesters who seek to disrupt Saturday’s parade in D.C. will be met with “very heavy force.”
