GlockStore to Host Fifth Annual Open House Marking the Company’s Move to Nashville this Saturday

Lenny Magill, founder and CEO of the GlockStore, previewed the GlockStore’s fifth annual open house event happening this Saturday, marking the company’s move from San Diego, California, to the Volunteer State during an exclusive interview with The Tennessee Star’s CEO and editor-in-chief, Michael Patrick Leahy.

On Saturday, the GlockStore will host its fifth annual open house from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at its store located at 1930 Air Lane Drive in Nashville.

The open house will feature over $20,000 in giveaway prizes, including a custom Glock, in-store sales, exclusive discounts, food and refreshments, guest speakers, tours of the facility, and more.

Magill said the event is a way for the GlockStore to give back to its customers and community, who have helped the store grow over the past five years.

“The [open house] is really just an opportunity for us to say thank you for being so gracious to us, to really enjoy this town because this town is on fire and we got here at the perfect time. We’re helping it grow and it’s helping us grow,” he explained on The Michael Patrick Leahy Show.

“We celebrate the fact that we escaped from California and have set up shop here in Nashville. It’s been a great experience for us. The town has accepted us very well,” he added.

Guests are also invited to explore the store’s one-of-a-kind Shoot270º tactical style indoor range during the open house, which Magill said teaches more in a one-hour session than any six-hour session at a typical shooting range.

“Our indoor shooting ranges are really unique. We don’t do lanes at our place. We’ve got combat or practical shooting rooms where you can shoot multiple targets in multiple directions, and you’re in the room really by yourself with an instructor. So it’s really a dynamic way to train and to learn how to shoot. It’s also a lot safer. You get more out of a one hour session at our place than you would in a group lesson for six hours,” Magill said.

“If you’re really looking to learn how to shoot, if you want to improve your skills, you just want to sharpen your skills, you want to just have a refresher, one hour in our shoot room will take you from point A to point B very efficiently,” he added.

Within the GlockStore’s five years at its Nashville location, Magill (pictured above) said the store has grown from operating six CNC machines to manufacture gun parts to now owning 15 machines and shipping approximately 1,000 orders nationwide every day.

“We are continually developing and inventing new parts…We also sell probably more Glock handguns than any other retailer in the country. So we are really the Glock mothership for all things Glock. People come from all around the country to visit us,” Magill said.
