Trump Says U.S. Will Hit China With 100% Additional Tariff over Rare Earth Restrictions

Breitbart   President Trump said Friday he would impose an additional 100 percent tariff on Chinese imports and new export controls on critical software, responding to China’s announcement of stringent new restrictions on rare earth minerals. The measures would take effect Nov. 1, Trump said on Truth Social, potentially raising the average U.S. tariffs on many Chinese goods above 150 percent. Trump also said he saw no reason to proceed with a planned meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in South Korea later this month. “It has just been learned that China has taken an extraordinarily aggressive position on Trade in sending an extremely hostile letter to the World, stating that they were going to, effective November 1st, 2025, impose large scale Export Controls on virtually every product they make, and some not even made by them,” Trump wrote. Earle-Sears, Spanberger Clash over Political Violence, Transgender Policy, and Shutdown in Heated Virginia Debate

News10 WAVY Virginia Gubernatorial Debate

by Tyler O’Neil   Virginia governor candidates, Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears and Democrat former Rep. Abigail Spanberger, went head-to-head at Norfolk State University Thursday night, debating political violence, transgender issues, the government shutdown, and more. Nexstar’s WAVY-TV hosted the debate, with WAVY-TV’s Tom Schaad and WRIC-TV’s Deanna Allbrittin as moderators. Spanberger repeatedly refused to answer questions, while Earle-Sears repeatedly interrupted her. When asked about the interruptions, Earle-Sears Press Secretary Peyton Vogel noted that moderators repeatedly refused the Republican candidate the opportunity for a rebuttal to Spanberger’s attacks. She contrasted Earle-Sears, “a leader willing to stand up when they need to” to Spanberger, who “can’t even stand up against murderous fantasies on her own ticket.” Here are five key takeaways from the debate. Political Violence Schaad began the debate by asking a question about Virginia’s car tax. After answering the question, Earle-Sears immediately pivoted to the issue of Jay Jones, the Democrat candidate for attorney general who had fantasized about shooting his political opponents. Jones made the remarks in texts in 2022, and has apologized for them. While Spanberger condemned the texts, she has not called for Jones to leave the race. “Abigail, when are you going to take Jay Jones and…

Comey Friend Dan Richman Was Made Aware of Ethics Rules Against Sharing Government Info

Daniel Richman

Fired FBI Director James Comey has been indicted for lying to Congress when he denied authorizing FBI leaks to the media, with multiple sources telling Just the News that Comey authorized his personal advisor and friend Daniel Richman to leak to the press. Internal FBI emails show Richman was told about ethics rules against leaking.

Internal FBI emails released through the Freedom of Information Act show that, while Richman signed a June 2015 acknowledgment related to his appointment to be a special government employee (SGE), his first term as an SGE appeared to have officially lapsed at the end of June 2016. The paperwork for Richman to re-sign to have him continue as an SGE does not appear to have been sent to Richman again until December 2016, and FBI emails indicate that Richman never actually signed it despite having been reappointed as an SGE in 2016. During this timeframe, Richman continued meeting with Comey and communicating with FBI officials. Comey’s friend resigned as an SGE in early February 2017.

Commentary: Republican Governors Must Follow Trump’s Lead on Census and Redistricting

Texas redistricting

From the day President Donald Trump came down the golden escalator in Trump Tower to launch his first presidential campaign in 2015, he’s been teaching his fellow Republicans how to “fight, fight, fight” and call out the radical left for things they’ve been getting away with in plain sight for decades. In politics, choosing bold leadership over the path of least resistance is seldom an easy decision, but when it comes to saving America, shirking responsibilities is not an option. That’s why Trump is taking our horribly flawed census and inaccurate reapportionment data head on.
